Visit Medicine Park to enjoy three days of celebrating blues music at the annual Blues Ball. The fun begin on Friday at 7pm with a kickoff party featuring live music from local entertainers. On Saturday, you can enjoy fantastic blues music starting at 7, with some of the best musicians in the state.

The Blues Ball continues Sunday at noon. Dance your way to the Medicine Park Town Center Mainstage and feel the music. Beer will be available for purchase, so bring your lawn chair and spend a fun-filled weekend enjoying the longest running music festival in Medicine Park.

The Lawton Police Department Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #98 will be hosting a golf tournament on Monday October 4th at the Ft. Sill Golf Course. Four-person scramble format. Entry fee will be $60.00 per person or 240 per team. There will be a closest to the pin challenge and also a women’s and men’s longest drive. Trophies will be given to the 1st 2nd and 3rd place teams. Lunch will be served after your round is complete. Come out and support a great cause as money raised will go towards the annual Shop with a Cop program. It will also go towards a scholarship and helping officers and their families in need.

Arts for All is a 501c3 Non-Profit that helps fund several organizations within the Lawton Fort Sill Community, including Lawton Community Theatre, Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, Lawton Fort Sill Art Council, Wichita Wildlight Photographic Society, Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild, Lawton Pro Musica, AFA member groups.

Fun for the whole family! There will be unlimited bounce houses and pumpkin painting for $5, a costume contest with a prize for the best dressed boy and girl, and raffle tickets for other prizes. Food trucks will be on hand if you get hungry. All proceeds will go to Agape Freedom Ministries.

To register for the 5k or 1 mile fun run, go to Immanuel Baptist Church or the Michael Day Farmers Insurance Agency in Duncan. You can also register at the event. Registration is $30
