6th ANNUAL KEMP KARNEVALE SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 23rd
CONTACT: Carlana Fitch, Executive Director/Carol Sales, Special Events Director 940-767-2787

“Rock the Kasbah, One Arabian Night” is the theme for the 6th annual Kemp Karnevale, a fundraiser benefiting the Kemp Center for the Arts, to be held Saturday evening, January 23rd beginning at 6:30.

Begun in 2005 as a winter fundraiser for the Kemp Center for the Arts, the annual Kemp Karnevale quickly became a much anticipated staple of the winter social calendar in Wichita Falls. Previous years’ guests have come dressed as cowboys and oilmen, tropical island pirates and vacationers, as well as Hollywood stars, both past and present! This year’s theme lends itself to emirs and sultans, camel tenders, genies, and veiled harem-girls.

Guests arriving at the Kemp, whether by private jet, galloping camels or conventional automobiles will be able to refresh themselves at the “Thirsty Camel Cash Bar” prior to dinner being served. They will also be able to avail themselves of the “Genie’s 3 Wishes: Enchantment Games” as well as placing their bids on both live and silent auction items galore. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by T-Bone Road band.

Those attending are encouraged to dress in themed attired as there will be a “Mystical Mid-east” costume contest to add to the festivity of the evening. However, for those wishing to retain their “American look”, business casual is appropriate, also.

Tickets for the event are $50 if reserved in advance and $55 at the door on the evening of the event. Tables for eight may be reserved in advance. For more information or to make reservations, call the Kemp office at 940-767-2787.

Be sure that you have never had any regrets in your nike air 2010 life which only lasts for a few decades. Laugh or cry as you like, and it is meaningless to oppress yourself.
